With over 18 years of cross-functional experience across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and professional services, Steve brings a rare combination of scientific depth, legal expertise, and executive-level strategic execution. His career spans large international companies including DSM and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, leading clinical-stage biotech such as HiFiBiO Therapeutics and Ensem, as well as top-tier law firm Jones Day.

Throughout his career, Steve has played a central role in guiding organizations through critical growth phases, regulatory milestones, and complex transactions. He has led high-impact initiatives across corporate strategy, business development, clinical and regulatory operations, manufacturing and supply chain management, organizational development, and corporate governance. Working closely with CEOs, executive teams, and boards, he has successfully negotiated strategic partnerships and licensing agreements, resolved operational and regulatory challenges, and built scalable processes to support global operations across the United States, Europe, and China.

Steve began his career as a scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals before transitioning into law, where he developed deep expertise in intellectual property strategy, technology transactions, and regulatory compliance. He is a U.S. Registered Patent Attorney and is admitted to practice law in several state and federal courts in the U.S.
